A Small Workshop Built on Patience and Precision
Escapory was set up for people who want their watch maintained by someone who takes the work seriously.

How Escapory Came to Be
Escapory opened on Si Chan Road in Khon Kaen with a simple idea: that people in the region deserved somewhere to bring a watch that was losing time or needed its seals renewed, without having to post it to Bangkok or abroad and wait weeks for a response.
The name comes from the escapement — the small gate inside a mechanical movement that releases energy in controlled steps. It felt like the right word for a workshop that values a measured, unhurried approach over speed and volume.
Our focus is on three well-defined services: gasket replacement for everyday dust and moisture resistance, rate regulation for watches that have drifted, and a full movement service paired with a pressure assessment for watches that see water. We chose to keep the scope narrow so we can do each thing well rather than offer a long list of services with inconsistent results.
Everything brought to us is assessed before work begins. Prices are stated up front. If the condition of the movement changes what the job involves, you are contacted before we proceed. This is the straightforward arrangement we would want if we were the customer.
Khon Kaen has a growing community of people who wear mechanical watches, collect them, or simply have one that belonged to a family member and want it kept running. We are here for all of those situations.

How We Work
Standards We Follow on Every Job
Assessment Before Work
Every watch is looked at under magnification before any service is started. We confirm scope and pricing before touching the movement.
Instrument-Based Timing
Rate adjustments are measured on a dedicated timing machine across multiple positions. We do not estimate — we verify with equipment.
Pressure Testing
Any watch receiving seal work is pressure-tested before return. The result is recorded in the service document.
Written Service Records
Full service jobs come with a written account of what was done. You leave with a document that describes the work in plain language.
Handling Protocol
Watches are handled individually, stored in a secure space, and never processed alongside other pieces in a way that risks mixing or damage.
No Hidden Scope Changes
If something unexpected comes up during service, we stop and call you. Additional work only proceeds with your explicit agreement.
Our Values
What We Think Watch Servicing Should Be
Watch repair occupies a narrow space between craft and engineering. A movement that has run for years accumulates wear in predictable patterns, and reading those patterns correctly before deciding what to do is the core of the job. At Escapory, we believe that transparency and restraint matter as much as technical skill.
We do not recommend work that is not needed. A gasket refresh is a gasket refresh — we do not upsell a full service to a watch that simply needs its seals replaced. Equally, we will tell you plainly if a watch needs more than a timing adjustment to return to good order, and leave the decision with you.
The watches that come through our workshop in Khon Kaen range from everyday pieces worn daily through tropical heat and humidity to older family heirlooms kept in drawers for years. Each one is approached on its own terms. The value a watch holds for its owner has no bearing on the care we bring to the bench.
Our location on Si Chan Road puts us within easy reach of central Khon Kaen. We welcome inquiries in Thai and English, and we are happy to explain any aspect of the service process before a watch is left with us.
